Your journey will include meeting local families in their homes and experiencing the vibrant energy and rich heritage of the farmers. They will take you into their lush coffee fields so that you can pick and taste the coffee berries and learn how they are graded for quality. Our local experts will open windows into the world of coffee which most travelers never have an opportunity to see.

Beginning with English coffee houses in the 1650s, the drink’s impact on western social, cultural, and political life has been huge. For example, it has played a major role in social upheaval in Latin America. But managed well it has also created harmony, as in Costa Rica, where political and cultural stability has been achieved due to the export of high grade Arabica coffee.

Coffee continues to have a significant influence on the economies of the more than fifty countries involved in coffee farming. Incredibly, there are 20 -25 million families involved in growing it, and millions more who process, trade and sell it. We plan journeys to coffee-growing regions all around the world.
